CARYTOWN WATERMELON FESTIVAL — Aug. 10. 25th anniversary edition of the street party showcases the luscious watermelon, includes exhibitors, arts and crafts, concessions, live music on eight stages, kids’ stuff and more, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on West Cary Street in Carytown. Free. 422-CARY (2279).
